How It All Began
3PL Advantage, a specialized trucking business, was founded in the great state of Illinois in October 2008. After FMCSA`s bond increase went into effect, the freight brokerage concept evolved into third party logistics under new leadership.
In March 2014, President Greg Pace joined the board of directors to help rebrand and improve the company strategy. With his leadership and the company’s immense growth over the years, 3PL Advantage has now expanded to the west coast`s Port of Long Beach, with the intent of offering drayage and ocean freight services to customers everywhere.

The 3PL Advantage leadership came together with the idea of bringing “great individuals together in order to create an exclusive NEW kind of culture in the logistics industry”. The goal was to create a culture founded on principles of constant advancement, growth and opportunities.

In fact, this year marks the 10th Anniversary of 3PL Advantage. The headquarters office, located at 2100 West 21st St in Broadview, IL, was selected based on its strategic location for transportation, both on a local and national scale. With highways and interstates running directly nearby, the office location is completely accessible and conveniently located from any direction in Chicagoland area, which remains the true heart of North American Logistics.
